Through the custom experience we provide, we can design a socket to accommodate a wide array of suspension and attachment methods. Once you are satisfied with our check sockets, we will create a definitive socket made from our custom compounded material which can be graphically laminated. When a patient wishes to come back for a new socket, our stored digital data makes recalling patient information a breeze! This allows new sockets to be produced without going through the design process again.
The Amphibian Water Leg is the perfect below-knee device to assist in daily activities and recreation. Showering, walking on the beach, riding an ATV, or swimming in the ocean are no problem with the Amphibian. The modular design allows for easy adjustments by the prosthetist. Simple to clean and maintain, the Amphibian shower leg is a vehicle for independence and enjoyment. Stand up in the shower and do what you love without ever worrying again about the consequences of wearing your primary leg in wet or dirty environments. Understanding that insurance only covers a primary leg, we set out to build an affordable secondary leg so that patients are able to enjoy activities where the limb may get wet. The Protosthetics Amphibian Leg includes the definitive socket, pylon and hardware, a pin-lock or suction suspension system, and our water resistant Niagara foot.
Our PETG 3D printed check-sockets, including our unique diamond check sockets, offer a proven and reliable solution for testing prosthetic fit with patients. This allows a practitioner to see inside the socket and easily find pressure points and other problem areas. Practitioners have used our 3D printed sockets for years for dynamic fittings when wrapping the socket with fiberglass. With 3D design and printing, we can design a socket to accommodate a wide array of suspension and attachment methods. Given the speed and reliability of 3D printing, we offer 24 turnaround on all 3D printed check sockets.

Protosthetics’ foot orthotics are customized to the patient’s’ feet by using a foam impression box, STS Slipper Sock, plaster cast or scanning the patient’s foot directly using the Protosthetics app. We use the scan of the foot or the mold to make all requested modifications intrinsically, within the 3D model, so exact correction is achieved with no chance for human error. After forming the base, we have a variety of mid and top layer options to get you exactly what you're looking for.
